My name is Liliane Breiland, owner of The African Boutique and Na’Madam’s African Cuisine. I am also an organizer of fashion shows and cultural events, through which I showcase and celebrate African culture within the community.

My inspiration for design began when I arrived in Canada in 2016. Wearing my African outfits, I received many compliments from the community. This motivated me to start creating my own designs, which I sent to my sister, a seamstress in Cameroon. There, cotton is grown and processed, further strengthening my connection to this craft and tradition.

In 2018, I launched my first collection. By 2022, I began organizing events such as galas and fashion shows. In 2024, in response to community demand, Na’Madam’s African Cuisine was born. Most recently, on July 12 and 13, 2025, I proudly presented the first edition of Afro Vibe Fest, a cultural festival bringing people together through fashion, food, and African heritage.

Through my businesses, I strive to create spaces of discovery, sharing, and inspiration for the community.
